PokerBaazi, a renowned Poker platform, has launched its latest brand campaign, ‘Tu Poker Khelta Hai Kya?’. The campaign features the company’s brand ambassador, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, and aims to highlight the innate Poker skills that every Indian possesses and uses in their day-to-day interactions.
The campaign conveys the core message ‘Jo life mein khelta hai wo Poker bhi khel sakta hai’, which translates to ‘Anyone who plays in life can also play Poker’. The ads are filmed satirically to showcase how the protagonist, Shahid Kapoor, uses skills often used in Poker, like quick thinking, outsmarting the opponent, reading people, calculating on the go, acting under pressure, and calling a bluff, during various real-life situations. This makes people around him believe that he is a Poker player.
Navkiran Singh, founder and CEO of Baazi Games, shared his thoughts on the launch of the campaign. He emphasized that Poker is a mind sport and requires certain skills, just like any other sport. He further stated that the campaign highlights the fact that Indians possess some of these skills which they use in their daily lives. These skills can be used to play Poker, and at the same time, playing Poker can help improve these life skills.
The campaign has been conceptualised in collaboration with the creative agency Talented. The brand films will be aired during the ongoing Indian Premier League on Jio. The campaign will also feature an exhaustive Out-Of-Home (OOH) presence across cities.
